Nice to meet you, I am Ottavio and my nickname is the “Vignaiolo Incasinato” (Messed-up Winemaker)… if we get to know each other you’ll understand why.
But there’s a thing that i love to do: making wine and, above all, narrating it in a smart way.
my goal is to bring as many people as pos- sible closer to the wonderful world of wine, a world in which I am in 24 hours a day for 22 years. In these years I realized that many people are literally AFRAID of wine because they do not know it, they think it is something difficult and complicated to understand. It is seen as something distant from every- day life…
I say NO to boring wine culture!
In my opinion, wine must express feelings of beauty: elegance, fun and wellness.

I decided to open the doors of my winery every Saturday and Sunday, to all of those those who wish to discover the world of wine in a lighter and funny way, not all are sommeliers, and also for those those who want to take the first steps in this fantastic world, everybody is welcome here!
Every Saturday and Sunday, we organize wine tours, alone or groups, morning or afternoon, with parents or pets, chose between one of our three different Messy Tasting and join us!
But how does it work and what does “Messy Ta- sting” includes?
All the Experiences included:
- WALK IN THE VINEYARDS:
We start from the vineyards, the place where everything starts (and where I spend most of my days). - VISIT THE CAVE:
I’ll bring you on my “office”: the cave.
The place where the transformation takes place: the grapes become wine. - THE TASTING:
After hearing me talk about the vineyard and cellar I imagine you will be thirsty and want to try something good!

Dezza 1890 experience:
Available on Saturday and Sunday.
Choose the Dezza experience as you dig deeper into our history, the people, the place, the fundamental role of the terroir and the wines.
Four different wines paired with a selection of locals salami and Italian cheeses.
- Carlo Giorgio Vsq Bianco Spumante – Riesling italico 36 mesi
- Rosaè Vsq Rosato – Pinot Nero 36 mesi
- 1916 – Riesling Renano
- Blanche Marie – Pinot Nero

Riesling experience:
Available only on the second Saturday of each month.
I will show you how a white wine can evolve and be long lasting over the years; vertical tasting of four different way of my Riesling, paired with a selection of locals salami and Italian cheeses.

Pinot Noir experience:
Available only on the second Sunday of each month.
I will show you the evolution of my Pinot Noir, an elegant and complicated vine, eager for attention; vertical tasting of four different way of my Pinot Noir, paired with a selection of locals salami and Italian cheeses.

When is the experience available at Dezza’s?
Every weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 to 12:00 and from 17:30 to 19:00.
How much is the wine cellar visit with tasting?
The experience costs €20 per person, children do not pay.
Payment can be made both in cash and electroni- cally.
Should I book?
Yes, to participate it is essential to book by 2.00 pm on the day before the one you are interested in, this will allow us to organize and prepare everything in the best way!

Where can I park the car?
Don’t worry, there’s plenty of room.
You can comfortably park your car safely next to the rows.
If it will rain?
Don’t worry, obviously I may not take you through the vineyards but I’ve already thought of something alternative that is equally instructive and fun.
In any case it will be a good experience.
…And if you don’t have problems putting on boots… I’ll even take you in the mud 😉
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely yes, animals are our friends (reptiles are excluded because they scare me!!).
